if you want more GPU power, u should sacrifice cpu to pentium ivy bridge, and get GTX 660 :)
but it is better if you want to stetch $60 more from above build to get GTX 660
  3. ^There's going to be very little difference between the i3 and the Pentium for gaming, but as for the graphics card...

A 650ti boost will be both cheaper AND faster than the 660. it's kind of a hidden gem.
  4. ^ no kidding? i havent read much about it. afaik 650 ti boost and GTX 660 is priced similar. around $170

A 660 is a little bit more expensive than that, isn't it? I thought it was closer to $190. But yeah, either way, the 650ti boost is more powerful - most of the reviews on it were kinda astounded by that.
  6. since nvidia release boost version, both 650 ti and gtx 660 have price cut

  10. Bah - I'm out of it. But the 650ti boost is the better option nonetheless. :P
(If you can even find it in Australia yet.)

  12. Get a 660 for your budget. FarCry 3 is tough on your GPU. I routinely see very high temps when playing FarCry 3.
