I'm looking for a new "cheapish" psu, and i was looking @ chieftec a80 650w 85% w/cable management.

and i was just wondering is this a good psu?

http://www.chieftec.eu/en/psus/a-80-series/ctg-650c.htm...

specs are there

edit ; my pc specs are in my sig, 6100 & card are slightly underclocked now.
when i get psu, will OC card to max and CPU to 4-4.5

More about : chieftec good brand

Looks reliable, obviously there's a lot better brands out there (Corsair, Seasonic etc)

But sure, 85% efficiency, you're good to go :D

I might be wrong, but last I recall about Chieftek, any models below 650w should be avoided, but 650+ models are made by Delta, who used to be the manufacturer for Corsair.

I'd like someone to check me on this, since it's been a while since I ran across the brand, but I'd give you the tentative go-ahead.

well the specs look decent and the protections too,

UVP (Undervoltage protection)
OVP (Overvoltage protection)
SCP (Short-circuit protection)
OPP (Overload protection)
AFC (Automatic Fanspeed Control)
MTBF (mean time between failure): >50.000h
