Hi all,
I'm a graphic designer. I own a Dell Inspiron 1520 for more than 5 years. It's a Core2Duo with 4GB Ram. I want to buy a new system/laptop that would fit my budget. I was thinking of an i3 or an AMD A10 with a MSI/Asus mobo, 8Gb ram, 1TB harddrive. Can you please make a suggestion for a good configuration within my 500-600$ budget please?
I don't do games. Just Illustrator/Photoshop (large documents) and right now my old Dell is hanging every 10minutes. Also the video card is not a must right now, was thinking of using a Intel HD4000 or AMD APU. Thank you!

as you wish :) you can even have i5 for better multitasking and speed

Thanks so much for the quick suggestion. Yeah I do need a monitor, but was thinking of a 24" Dell from Ebay. I really need it to cover a large percent of the Adobe Gamut. Any suggestion on a cheap new one? :) Thanks!

these are my recommendation for monitor. afaik, asus IPS panel is the popular one, and dell Ultrasharp comes with the best quality

Hey thanks for the suggestion. Think I'm gonna start right now with the Asus monitor. After seeing some reviews on youtube seems like a great deal. Thanks again!
