Noob, question but need to make sure before I pull the trigger.
So I'm building my 1st gaming Rig, and will be connected to an Optoma HD33 projector (Max res is 1080p). Majority of use will be for gaming and watching movies. I have all the other hardware picked out except for the GPU. My question is: Is a Gigabyte (GV-N670OC-2GD) GeForce GTX 670 an overkill for a projector that maxes out at 1080p? . My concern is that I really don't need that much of a GPU for that projector, but then again I might be able to use that GPU in the future if I upgrade to a higher res projector.
