I have done this process before, i have the ISO file and i used a program to insert it into a USB and it is possible it is an option for Windows
  3. Have a feeling that windows 7 (Registry) has not set USB bootable. Sounds like it's just not a function of BIOS.

  4. I just solved this problem after 3 hours,
I had to somehow trick the mobo that the USB was a cd via BioS
  5. Cool I tried to install windows on a thumb drive and it said windows can't be installed on this drive so i assumed it wasn't supported.
