Corsair Hydro H100 CPU Cooler

Hi there everybody,

I want to get the Corsair H100... but I am not sure if I have to do maintenance on it ? What I mean is if I have to exchange the fluid ? Or do I have to do something else every x months to it ? Or just let it be as in the normal air cooler ? Any ideas ?

  1. its a sealed unit

you dont top up the fluid
  2. The only thing you would need to do is clean the rad from dust buildup that is really it. Dust can get clogged up in the rad pretty good some times and you just need to remove the fans and give the fans and rad a good spraying with electronics compressed air every few months. I am running a Corsair H100i on my i5 3570K and it does a really good job of keeping my temps down and even with the case fans and the fans on the H100i my system is still very quiet. But with my Asus Z77 Sabertooth 4 of my case fans are controlled by the mainboard and only come on when temps get to a specified c so most of the time all 4 turn off keeping the case noise down quite abit.
