I just noticed that my case (CM Storm Stryker) has 2 front USB 3.0 ports, yet my Motherboard (MSI Z77A-GD65) only has one front USB 3.0 header. I'm alright with only one of them being 3.0, but is there some sort of extensions where I can unplug the port from the case wire that runs to the PSU, and slip the 3.0 to 2.0 in between?

The USB 3.0 header has 2 ports - so when you plug your case cable into the mobo - both will work.
