(my specs)
currently using and wanting to replace 6670 dd3 xfx 2gb gpu
ta880gu3+ biostar motherboard
4gb ram
cx500 corsair psu
amd phenom II b60 3.3ghz (overclocked from dual core to quad core speed isnt changed)
1680x1080 (idk if its 1080 or 720, i use hdmi cable but my monitor has a dvi to hdmi converter if that makes a difference)

im trying to get a card that could handle battlefield 3 on high settings if not ultra with no less than 40-45 fps (constantly) and can play games dragon nest and vindictus with no less than 60 fps on maxed settings in big party raids where i currently get around 30 fps sometimes mid 20s with low/mid settings and aa disabled. if anyone can help me figure out what i should use with out replacing any of my other current hardware id really appreciate it.

(USA, card can be new or used, budget preferably around 150)

I would get a GTX 650ti boost as others have said. Although I would save the money and get a GTX 670 if it were me it would be a much better card of course that comes for a price. It is all a matter of what you need and can really afford but if you can save money that might be your best bet. Plus a GTX 670 would last you for quite some time before it would be to slow to run your games.

ty for the feedback, but before i order, would that graphics card bottleneck my cpu? and will i have enough power to run it? the power supply i listed above is the one im upgrading to when it arrives in a few days. id really hate to have to return it for a higher power one especially since moneys pretty tight for me atm. also is the 670 really like 400-500$ like some sites are saying? what is the performance gain from a 650?
again i really appreciate the help im getting from you all

Your intended PSU is sufficient for a GTX650Ti Boost. Actually, if you don't have it yet, see if the Antec VP-450 is cheaper. While its initial wattage is lower, it's a better unit; the Corsair was made by CWT using some inferior Samxon capacitors known for early failure.
Your monitor is probably 1680x1050.
The DDR3 version of the HD6670 is pretty weak for games. Even the HD7750 would be a significant step up. At your resolution, you'd be able to play a lot of games on medium to high settings, but probably not BF3 at the high-ultra settings you want.
GTX650 <= HD7750 < HD7770 < GTX650Ti <= HD7790 < GTX650Ti Boost
IMHO, the bang/buck winners are the HD7750 and the GTX650Ti Boost. The bang/buck loser is the HD7790.

i got the corsair psu for 50$ new on amazon, the antec one is a little cheaper on there but i have a problem, i already ordered it 2 days ago. do you think they would cancel my order and refund me atleast for credit so i can order the other one?

i did meant 1680x1050 above and my second monitor is 1440x900 (i only turn it on when i need to use browser)

e/ the item was just preparing to ship but i put a cancel order on it and then i was reading a review on the psu you posted and it mentioned the wires are short, would the motherboard wire be able to swing around the graphics card and around my cm evo 212 to reach the plug on the top left corner of the case? the current psu i have my brother cut the plug off the wires and wires off a old psu and extended my current psu wires to motherboard. my current case is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133200

my brother kept telling me to make sure i have enough watts to run my computer with the upgraded gpu and possible future upgrades like ram or extra fans. so i found a site online and after filling out the info it recommended to have psu that can handle 564 watts (543 with just the gpu). i know a psu was already recommended but is there possibly a 600 watt psu within 50-60$ price range that wont blow out fast or make me have to replace my computer?

I'm running Omega right now under the constant high load of bitmining. With an HD7970, its UPS is saying it is pulling about 367W from the wall. Either you entered something wrong (e.g. you have ONE CPU, regardless of how many cores it has), or that PSU selection site is WAY off.

so a 4 core with stock speeds wont pull more watts? i couldnt list how many cores i unlocked on the site but i tried to search google a bit and some people mentioned when my cpu is unlocked it runs around 120-140 watts which seems a little ridiculous to me but i honestly dont know better if its true or not. i used this website http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp for its watt calculator. so with that 450 psu you recommended i actually can run the new card my motherboard 2 more 2gb ddr3 ram sticks (using 2 at the moment) my unlocked cpu 2-3 additional 120mm fans (using 3 at the moment) and a possible fan controller? im just wondering because the recommended power for the new card says 450, wouldnt it need additional power for everything else like usb keyboard/mouses/headset and everything else i mentioned above?

Graphics card manufacturers list the total wattage they recommend for the system, not just what their card needs. Any card with a single 6-pin PCIe power cable will draw no more than 150W, and that's running flat out.
The total wattage the manufacturer list is also because they are trying (often to no avail) to account for all the liar-labeled junk out there. A "600W" Logisys, for example, may be good for no more than 350W.
