I accidentally installed this toolbar by visualbee and I uninstalled it from my control panel but now when I open chrome I get the visualbee search engine instead of the page that shows my most visited sites. How do I get rid of the search engine?

not sure about chrome but try looking in the add ons or extensions section

if visualbee is listed disable it

or try malwarebytes to remove it

Go to your browser options, and change your home page back to google.com or whatever you prefer.

My pc got it off a speedfan link in the forums.
I ran multiple programs against it Only two recognized it but nothing could take it out.
My resort: fresh Windows install.

Its really unfortunate that so many users are having a bad experience with the Visualbee toolbar. However, VisualBee itself is not a malware distributor - nor is the toolbar, however, it does make minor modifications to your browsers.

If you're not comfortable having it on your system, you could remove it by following the instructions on this page -

-mod edit-

Hope This Helps.

That is fine comedy, Dear Bee.
If anyone wants a pc infection, go get some of that bee stuff.

I spent nearly one hour removing visualbee from my loptop, had to combine a few possible solutions but mostly followed this one: http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2013/05/remove-visualbee.html

It came along with video converter from softonic but I swear I opted out visualbee and other 'offers' but it still somehow found a way to my machine. I won't download anything from softonic again, stay away from it guys!

Could you recommend other sites than softonic, cnet and filehippo? Thanks!
