You might have seen my other post but the price of windows 7 OEM is really screwing me over. I'm planning to play games like bf3 and other games like that at at least high with fps of 40+. I also heard that Windows 7 OEM won't work if you upgrade a computer part and you'll have to buy it again?

I already have a monitor and mouse.

I just need a CPU, GPU, MOBO, PSU, HDD, RAM, and cd drive. Why must Windows be so expensive... T_T

Also, would a 650ti boost be able to fit in a micro atx case? What would be the smallest case that card can fit into?

Thanks for the help! I've been pulling my hair out about this subject.

OEM windows will be tied to the first motherboard you install it on. Microsoft is usually very helpful and will give you a new code if you are upgrading motherboards usually. I have done this before.

Any card should fit in a microATX case. You could easily fit a gtx 670 depending on the card. Don't worry about that too much.

Here is a build under 700$. the 7870 XT is similar to a 7950 for about 50$ less. this will be able to run bf3 on ultra at 50 or so fps and without MSAA at 60-70. If you have a little extra money You should get an ssd and use it as an OS drive and 1 or 2 games. good luck with windows. Micrsoft should help you out if you call them.

Check out this mITX build using the CM Elite 120 Case. The graphics card and mobo are from Newegg. For some reason they weren't listed on PartPicker.

Before anyone says anything, the motherboard is Ivy Bridge compatible. No USB 3.0 though. If you could splurge an extra $30 you could get a H77.

I was actually planning to either get a 650ti boost 2gb or a regular 650ti 2gb? And i was planning to do a mid-atx. I'm afriad a mini-atx case i'm afraid would be very hard to put together, and wouldn't have much space for airflow
