So Wireless does not need to be that great as only 3 devices will be connected via wireless to this router anyway, which will be the main, Have a repeater for the rest for the downstairs.
Well there will be a total of 25 devices connected.
Wireless doesnt fully matter
Must have GB ports
Must have a GOOD QOS
And be able to handle heavy amounts of traffic up and down on my 30meg down and 4 meg up. I have a small torrent server and host a ton of sites so uploading is used a lot meaning I need QOS to stop lag spikes in gaming.
I`m just looking for something thats going to be able to handle a lot going on at the same time, Torrenting, Media PC pulling HD videos from my Server, Gaming and regular downloading at the same time and not have an issue. My current TP-Link 1043nd seems to studder sometimes.
Also I used to RUN nothing but DD-WRT on my Routers, But on the newer ones like my TP link it just does not seem stable anymore.
SO which or what should I go for?
if the RT-N16 I`ll prob load up tomato. but the Routing perfomance and local network transfers need to be good!
