Acer Aspire 5720 bluetooth not working

Window XP (Downgraded from vista)
1.99 GB RAM

I just notice i had a bluetooth button. I click it and the light becomes blue. I go on start menu, click run and type fsquirt. I tried sending a file and it says this

Windows cannot find any Bluetooth devices. Make sure that your Bluetooth radio is attached to your computer and is turned on, and that your Bluetooth device is turned on. Follow the setup instructions that came with the device, and then click Search Again.

  1. If you go to the start menu, run and type in 'devmgmt.msc' (no quotes) and click ok, is there anything in the list which has a yellow circle with an exclamation mark in?
    If so then it is likely that you haven't installed the bluetooth drivers for your laptop yet.
