"Initialization of the ide" could refer to the hdd (in IDE mode) or the cd/dvd drive, you might have left a disk in the drive and have the cd/dvd drive as first boot option. Most likely the cd/dvd drive. open it, check for a disk and if not go to bios and change first boot option to the hdd.
