i am thinking of building my own computer and i would like to ask if the following parts are compaitable.

motherboard : asus M5A78L LE

psu : Thermaltake SMART 630W 80 PLUS

cpu :AMD FX 6300

memory : Kingston KHX1600C9D3P1K2/8G

graphics card : ATI Radeon HD 7870

HDD : Hitachi DeskStar 500GB 7K1000

Everything is compatible.

Although I don't really go for Thermaltake PSU's, the model you chose actually is a great one, as it got a Golden Award at Hardware Secrets. (Link)

The only thing I might add is to get a bigger HDD, as 500 GB won't be enough. I'd suggest going 1TB or larger.
