Sapphire 7870 vs VTX3d 7870

Hey,

I've been away from the graphics card scene for a long time now (Since I bought my current 4870 about 5 years ago). After an afternoons research, I found these two cards to be the most appealing to me. I'm just having trouble deciding between them.

What do you think would be best?

VTX3d 7870

vs.

Sapphire 7870

I've tried searching all over, but I can't find anything that compares these two cards directly.

Thanks for the response mate, I'll take that onboard.

I have been reading more about the two cards and found that the VTX3d uses the Tahiti LE chip (similar to what the 7900 series cards use), where the Sapphire uses the Pitcairn XT. Could this indicate any significant performance differences?

May I suggest you have a look at the club 3d hd 7870 Joker. This is a tahiti LE and looks absolutely STUNNING! Its value for money is quite incredible (I picked mine up for £171!!!).
I upgraded from a HD 6850 which is a tidy card but the Joker simply destroys its level of performance.
