Upon removing this Flash Drive (FD) from my system, and doing so properly, my computer keeps displaying a window prompting me to install the software for this FD. I cannot install any software since the FD did not come with any. Nor can I find anything for the FD online.

If I restart or shut down and reboot my computer system then I keep getting these reminder windows about installing the software to support this FD. I don't know how to stop this from happening.

If I go into my computer Device Manager and look under PCMCIA and Flash Memory Devices and double click on Mass Storage Controller, the device status reports: "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."
However, the driver is unavailable online.

Needless to say, but I have used this FD without any driver. I was able to save files to it. And I was also able to delete files from this FD.

The major problem I'm having is figuring out how to stop the windows about this device from appearing on my computer desktop when I reboot or restart the system. I just don't know what to do here to stop this from happening.

Furthermore, in the Mass Storage Controllers Properties window, at the bottom of this window, is a Device Usage Drop Down list. In this list, I have two options: 1) Use this device (enable). 2) Do not use this device (disable). Now, I wonder if I select option #2 whether this will stop the windows about this device from popping up onto my desktop (see above) when I reboot or restart the system.
And if I do select option #2 then if and when I decided to use this FD again then will I have to select option #1 to enable it again. However, with option #1 selected, the same problem described above will resurface and continue again.

So, techno super people at Tom's Hardware, what can I do about this?

Thanks for your support.
