I've got a Samsung S23A700D 3D monitor, it's brilliant for it's 120Hz capability and the 3D but my only complaint is the glossy screen! In 2D I don't find glare too distracting but it's only possible to play 3D (with glasses) games when there's very little sun which isn't always possible obviously.
Is there any way I can reduce the glossiness or glare from the screen, without expensive screen overlays?
Make sure that the monitor is facing away from any light source. (Lamps, sunlight, fireplace) If your monitor can, tilt the screen upwards.
