I had my 2500k at 4.5ghz for quite a while but accidentally hit clear cmos on the back of my motherboard so Im going back and doing the overclock. Theres a few things different now.I have my multiplier on 40 turbo power limits to 150 and 100 for one second max spread spectrum disabled and my voltage is offset on a level 4 because i plan to push high than 4.5ghz this time. For some odd reason when prime 95 testing the 4ghz overclock cpuz says i have a 36x instead of 40x and im running 100% .also it says 36x(16-60) that wasn't there before.also just now noticing that hw monitor says that my tmpin 3 and 4 got to 120c..im going to back off to stock clocks till i can find out whats going on.
