1-what does Win7 Ultimate full vers. 32/64bit really mean?
2-Do you actually have two different formats, or two separate discs in the package?

3-Another OS question: if I have a new pc with Win8 installed (which I don't want) and I insert a Win7 Ultimate disc in, will the pc boot up with 8 or 7?

Any advice/info will be appreciated!

Somewhat right. 32bit can only access up to 4GB. 64 can access more, depends on the version. HP and below can go up to 16GB. (I think starter is limited to 8GB.) Pro and above can all do 192GB. My windows case came with two disk, one for 32 and one for 64bit. There is only one serial number however that works on either or. If you buy an OEM copy of windows you need to decide which to get because you'll get EITHER a 32bit disk OR a 64bit copy. I've heard the serial number still works on both, but hard to use 64bit if you have a 32bit disk.

I haven't used 8 yet but if its like previous copies of windows when you put a lower copy of windows in nothing will probably happen. When dealing with windows you usually have to have the...
Bascially the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit is how much memory can be accessed. 32 bit is 4Gb and 64 bit is up to 16gb. You will have one DVD in the case. Also, if you buy the OEM version of windows 7 your max memory is up to 16gb and if you buy full or professional you can go up to I think 96gb. Also, this is limited based on your motherboard maximum.

If you have a pC with windows 8 on it and you put the Windows 7 disc in your DVD drive it will prompt you to repair or install Windows7. If you choose install win 7 it will overwrite everything from windows 8.

I haven't used 8 yet but if its like previous copies of windows when you put a lower copy of windows in nothing will probably happen. When dealing with windows you usually have to have the lower copy installed first. You can load the disk before win8 boots, but as above you'll end up formatting and deleting win8.
