I have a monitor with no HDMI. The monitor is connected to my PowerColor 7850 card by a DL-DVI cable. Can I also, at the same time, connect a HDMI cable from the 7850 video card to the HDMI input of my sound bar? I would have audio on HDMI and video on DVI from the same card. Is anyone doing this already, or would it just confuse (damage?) the video card?
