Micro ATX motherboard

I am getting the Micro-ATX motherboard because my old one can't have a athlon ii x4 640 processor. I have an Acer Veriton m420 computer. Does this motherboard have a pci express slot for a ati radeon 7770 and for the processor since it needs a certain slot for it? Can someone also give me a link to a site that sells them please.

The AMD Athlon II X 4 640 CPU is a AM3 Socket CPU, and will also fit in a Socket AM3+ motherboard.. so either motherboard will do but with a AM3+ mobo you can later on upgrade to a Socket AM3+ CPU.

The PCIe (PCI Express) slot is standard in all motherboards for some time so it shouldn't be a problem finding the right motherboard for your 7770 Video Card..

Try this link to find the appropriate motherboard

    EDIT
If your RAM memory is DDR2 you might have to upgrade it to DDR3 to work with the Athlon II X 4 640 CPU (EDIT: meant to say AM3+ motherboard, AM3 CPUs can use DDR2 RAM).. or you can buy this motherboard with support for AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2 CPUs and for DDR2 or DDR3 RAM.

Do I have to worry about the size too/ And do I need to replace the chip set too? Oh thanks for the link for the mobo and When it says nvidia chipset will a ati radeon 7770 be compatiable or do i need a new chipset?

If you mean motherboard size? (ATX or MATX?), that depends on the case size... I haven't found the case size yet, so that information would help.

The chipset is integrated on the motherboard so you must mean the drivers? so no, that shouldn't be a problem.. Nvidia chipsets should work with ati radeon graphics card... but, AMD motherboards don't use nvidia chipsets as far as I know

EDIT: Correction the linked ASRock motherboard does use Nvidia video, but that shouldn't pose a problem.

Thanks a lot. I never knew upgrading an old pc would be this hard. I'll find a new motherboard and get the things for it. Thanks a lot man.
