I recently installed a new CPU using Arctic Silver, did it correctly, etc. My question is that I am going to have to take the heat sink/CPU out in a few days just for a few minutes and then re-install them (new motherboard), so do I need to do the entire cleaning/reapplication process or can I just do a little buffing of the existing compound I had applied a few weeks ago with a coffee filter and perhaps put a minuscule drop of Arctic Silver when I put everything back in?
