Hello everyone , this is my very first post so please let me know if I'm breaking any rules , or if i don't provide enough info.

First of all , thanks for taking the time to help me , let's get to it.

Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits
M4N68T-M-LE-V2
AMD phenom II x4 955 BE 3,2ghz
sapphire 6870 1gb (default clock) - Catalyst version 13.4
6gb RAM
Western Digital 500gb
Thermaltake TR2 RX1200w

So, as the tittle says I'm having sudden usage drops/spikes , and somehow it seems to only affect battlefield 3 and battlefield bad company 2 , which just raises further question because i am over 200+ hours on BF3 and never had this problem before , i assumed it was the drivers, So i tried different drivers . Then i did a complete gpu driver swipe and installed the newest drivers from scratch, problem persisted. Closed all non-essential services , disabled all start-up application , tried "game booster" , high performance mode .

Then i saw somewhere that it was Punk buster's (battlefield's anti-cheat software) fault , so i re installed punk buster, And nope .

All of my temps are fine according to CPUID hardware monitor , and msi afterburner.

I obviously contacted EA support , but it's incredible how little those guys know about computers , anyway later i found some guy in a forum who recommended updating audio drivers, problem yet persisted .

This remarkable site it's my last hope.
Msi afterburner ,after a quick BF3 round ,look at that pattern.

I would say try to OC the memory to 1100 or 1150, because memory has a big effect on performance. The other thing is, your using an AMD. It's not a bad GPU, but Nvidias on average can get about 10-20 frames more and have a very constant frame rate and response time with that game and most games similar to it. The other thing is that you only have 1 GB of VRAM. 1GB is just enough to run the game, but with certain effects and physical attributes, you usually want to get 2 GB now-a-days at a minimum.
