I recently Upgraded from a Gforce 9800 GTX to a Radeon HD 7850. I have to 19' displays, on has a DVI-D out on it and the other is a VGA. When I first got the card installed I installed the drivers and everything was fine. Both monitors worked. Today I moved to a new house and after setting up my computer, Windows is not detecting the secondary display (the DVI-D). I have the VGA with a DVI adapter and it is plugged in to the dvi slot on the video card that supports vga. The DVI-D monitor was plugged into the other slot (labled DVI-D) but only the VGA monitor shows. When I unplug the VGA monitor, the DVI-D one still doesn't show. Both monitors work (mirrored) in post. The DVI-D monitor was also tested in the other slot that supports VGA and it works fine but the other slot doesn't support VGA so I can't plug the other one in there. I have reinstalled the card drivers as well as the chipset drivers and nothing has solved this issue. I have also messed with the Catalyst and windows display settings, and it simply will not detect the other monitor. Please Help.
