Hi there :) ,

I'm currently looking forward to building a custom built PC :)

I have chosen everything except of the GPU :/

My current specs are:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: N/A :p
RAM: Avexir MPower Yellow Series 8GB
MoBo: ASRock 970 Extreme3
PSU: Corsair 2013 Edition Gamer Series GS 600W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

So the PC will be mainly used to play games and record let's plays in games like Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty MW3.

If the 8GB of ram isn't enough please tell me, I can think about buying 12 or 16 :)

Edit: I will be thinking about slight overclocking of my GPU :)

The Gigabyte 7970 is definitely the better card. But either card can handle BF3 and COD MW3.

No card will make your PC future-proof. There's no such thing as a future-proof system.

Hmm...Let me say this in a different way, will the 7970 last longer than the GTX 670 ?
