I am not much familiar with the hardware of a pc. I just wanted to ask if this is a good pc build which can play games like Fifa 13, BF and other high graphic games at the highest settings.

RAM:-

Processer:-

Motherboard:-

Video card:-

If anything is not that good from the above products, then what can I replace it with? My budget is 30K INR which is about umm 550$ I guess.
Thank you.

Can you suggest me a RAM in that budget? And apart from that RAM, is the rest of the config good? The RAM will mostly stay at 8GB.

Hello,

I was reading your thread and noticed the answers given. I'm not going into detail but I will give you my recommendations for a solid system. So, to start with I'd say you are about 80% there. So my recommendations are around optimising your original configuration.

Add a SSD (Solid State Drive). ~250 GB and make this the primary drive or boot drive. The HDD 1.0 TB drive is where you will hold your games, videos etc. The SSD should contain your OS, Antivirus, Work programmes etc. But you save your data on the HDD as these still are more reliable than the SSD. Once you loose data because you fail to back up, it is gone forever. Having the primary drive as a SSD will make your computer very responsive. When programmes blink on it makes you happy, watching the hourglass or spinning doughnut does not.

I would change the graphic's card. If you are on a budget go the 7870 (R 270X). If you can afford it go for the 7970 (R 280X). Depending upon which card you go for will determine the power supply needed. as follows:
550 Watts 7850 , 7870
650 Watts 7970.

The 7850 is just a lack lustre card and you will be disappointed with it. From the 7870 up, you will get good frame rates and decent graphics. A lot of people will say go big, but the resolution of a monitor today (1920 x 1080) is easily handled by a semi decent card, spending more is just good for bragging rights, you will see no gain. There are human factors here and I could go on... but I wont.

Apart from this the rest of the items will be good enough. People will splice hairs over 1 or 4% performance but in the scheme of things you end up paying a lot more for little gain, that you wont notice.

As a final word of advice, get a Logitech or Razor mouse and a keyboard you like. Stay corded, wireless mice and keyboards aren't worth it unless you are 5+ feet away from the PC. For most of use this is not the case.

So happy computing.
Cheers,
Nyobium
