Did I damage my graphics card?

Here's some background info, I have a pc built by me and up until yesterday It was working 100% fine. I could play games etc... no problems whatsoever. Basically, I keep my grinder (weed smokers know what this is) on top of my hardrive bay. I hit against my pc and the grinder (which is quite heavy, made out of metal) fell down and landed ontop of my gpu. immediately, my computer restarted (weird). the pc itself has been running fine, surfing the web and using skype etc is fine. but when I try to play GTA4, which i've been playing recently up until the incident with the grinder, I get a blue screen of death and my computer restarts.

Solution
Remove the card and inspect it for any damage, this is why cards should have a backplate that acts like armor. If there is any missing smd components then you have to rma the card if there is warranty.

How would I go about doing that? it's a sapphire hd6870

do you mean reset? or to actually physically reseat the graphics card? I just played some arma 3 with no problems (yet) so maybe that is my problem.

Update: I removed the gpu, cleaned it and reinstalled it. still getting bsod when I play gta 4. It plays for about 5 seconds, then the screen goes black and the computer restarts. I tried arma 3 and that's running fine, I played it for about 10 minutes with no problem. any other ideas?
