Hi Guys I bought a sony vaio W8 laptop recently without any CD with it.
When I started it there was only one Drive ‘C:’ in it. But I needed partitions when I found that I coundt do it I asked my IT engineer in the office to do the partitions. He did it but he couldn’t start the laptop after that. He said he has to format it and I would lose all my data in it. I said OK n he formatted the Laptop and he wasn’t aware of the Serial Key for Windows 8 he thought I might be having the CD for Windows 8(key). But I dint had any. Later he put this pirated Key and installed the Windows. Now the Symbol or Message on Desktop saying activate your Windows is still there and he won’t go. I don’t know what to do? Can I complain to sony support? Will they help me? Or what to do? I don’t understand a thing. The store I purchased is far away from me in Dubai and I am working in Abu Dhabi.
Please suggest how I would get my Serial Key back. There is no KEY under the Board.
