so i have had an issue for quite a while now that i have been unable to resolve on my own. When i play music, videos or games i get this buzz that is sometimes accompanied by lag it sounds very similar to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF9Pvdsz0UM.
it rarley happens when i listen to music. When i watch videos it happens mostly when i watch 1080p videos but i can decrease it by using media player classic instead of windows media player. it happens heavily in some games but lightly or not at all in other games regardless of graphics settings

Have a look at dlc latency checker. It will show you if your system can handle real time audio/video. If you have a newer system, its CPU/GPU are capable of handling audio video in real time, but your peripherals are choking it down. Poor motherboard/integrated sound card/network card- all these you cant do anything about- except getting a dedicated sound/network card or a different motherboard. If you're using a dedicated network/sound card as is- try removing them and using the integrated one.

DLC checker cannot fix anything, or tell you what's causing the problem- but it can localize it to the problem.

i ran the checker and it told me that your machine should be able to handle the streaming of aduio and realtime video. I am using the integrated sound card. so you are saying that i cant do anythng about my problem?

PROBLEM SOLVED FOR ME !!!

I have a I5 Processor whit integrated graphics card from Intel + a Sapphire HD7870 Graphics card.......the problem was that i have 2 monitors one plugged into the Sapphire HD7870 and the 2nd into the Intel integrated graphics...... all ive done is RUN DPC LATENCY and go here : http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu

After i updated my integrated graphics the sound buzzing and little lags went AWAY ! from videos , music and games too !!!

HOPE it works for you all try !
