Hey all, I have always come to toms for help with things in past but this is the 1st time i have had to post

I have been running this machine for 6 months with no problems until the last couple of weeks. Im getting BOSD like once or twice a day. This can happen while gaming or idle its total random. The problem seems to have came from around the same time as i put a clean install of windows 7 onto my machine.

The errors that i have seen on the BOSD say Memory Management. I have tested using memtest and it fails with thousands of errors in first couple of meinutes while i have 2 sticks of ram in yet when i tested each stick one at a time they both passed :S

System
I5 2500K
Asus Mazimus IV gene-z gen3
8GB Coisier Vengence DDR3 1600 (Low Profile)
Artic i30 cooler
HD6670
Be Quiet 530 PSU Bronze Certified

Mini dump files seem to be pointng at Ntoskrnl.exe.

I have tried a to repair using the windows disk but it doesnt seem to be working.

Anybody got any ideas im banging my head against the wall. Thanks in advance :)

Hello Sir!

You can own 2 single sticks of ram that individually are okay, they will pass mem test no problem. However combined they will hate eachothers gutts. Have you tried swapping ram, like originally it was in Dimm 1 and 2, so swap Dimm 2 with 1.

Your ram simply hate each other.

i have tried the ram in all combinations of the slots, at present i have them in slots A2/B2 as recommended by the motherboard manual.

So what you are saying is that i may need to RMA the ram?

Yes both sticks where bought as a pair, i have found the problem 1 stick is faulty and was causing the blue screen. I have RMA'd and am taking an upgrade in motherboard at the same time. Going for the Sabertooth Z77 :)
