Anyone done a tri-monitor set-up with ASUS VG248QE 24"? Just Curious...

Just got this monitor because I'm a big gamer and the 144Hz refresh was very interesting, and the price was nice.

I can't help daydreaming about a tri-monitor set-up one day though, and wondered if anyone had tried it with this monitor.

The bezels aren't insignificant and I was wondering if they look terrible in game.

I have 3x of them setup on a gtx titan. While yes the bezels are a bit large I would recommend having a large deep desk to set them back as if you run them in their normal wide mode its hard to see the sides. Running them in portrait mode is a lot of fun and much easier to see. If you set them up so you have the two side monitors just slightly behind you can get rid of having two bezels and only see the one on the main middle monitor. In all though I really enjoy them for gaming in triple monitor setup especially in 3d. Only thing is though you can't run 3d with them in portrait mode.

Hi, I'm running three of the Asus VG248QE monitors with a AMD 7970 6Gb Vapour X card.
In order to get the 144Ghz to work with my card I needed to search for leads. The problem is that my card had only 1 Dual link DVI-D socket as the other one (that looks the same) is only single. At the moment only the 1 monitor is reporting as 144Ghz (the one on the dual link DVI-D ) the other 2 are reporting only 60Ghz.

The answer :)
Go to your graphics card website and look to see what your card has EXACTLY in regards to outputs (HDMI, Display Port Etc.)
Then see if the card is 1.2 compliant. If it is and you have the same issue (Only 1 Dual link DVI-D) then use the Display ports to output to the other 2 monitors.
The leads I needed were Mini Display Port to Display Port.

I hope this helps as it does look very nice when finally setup and working (it is mind blowing when you first see it).
