Asus Radeon HD7870 Direct CUII 2GB

Hello everyone! Does anyone know the max temperatures for this gpu? I play several games, but 2 of them seem to push the card a little more than others (Guild Wars 2 and The War Z). Playing both in High graphical settings. My cpu does fine with the hottest core not going over 51c thanks to a Corsair H50 I recently added to the mix. The gpu however gets to tempertures of 63-67c. Is this ok for this card? I am thinking about replacing my top exhaust fan (230mm) that maxes out around 700 rpm's (110cfm) with 2x 140mm fans that max at 2000 rpm's (80cfm each).

All responses are appreciated! Thanks.

Those temperatures seem fine , just make sure the card isn't going TOO high. I don't see why it should reach such high temps with the Direct CUII
  2. Totally normal.

Even 75-80C is not going to hurt the cards. People running Crossfire see those temps regularly. They will start to throttle themselves at about 95C to prevent damage.
  3. Thanks for such quick responses ihsaan96 and anort3. I guess 63-67 is where I should be at after hours of gw2. Again, thanks guys
  4. Glad to help! :)
  5. Sorry this is off topic. I stalked ihsaan96 to this thread.
