Hi I want to set up ISRT with a few exeptions and want some help figuring out how to go about it and if it will work

I have an OCZ 120GB Vertex4 SSD
and a Toshiba 1TB HDD

What I would like to do is install the OS on the SSD and then use the rest of the SSD to accelerate the HDD with ISRT.
Im not sure if this is possible and if so how to do it.

do I have to set up raid, partition the SSD and then install windows on one of the paritions, then go into ISRT in windows and select the other partition to accelerate?
^^^ TOTAL GUESS

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated thanks

P.S. not sure if I have this in the right section but looked close

Because you have the 120GB SSD, you don't want to set the ISRT, or do you mean Intel® Rapid Storage Technology or Smart Response Technology?
For SRT, if you only have the small SSD like 32GB, then you are better to use intel SRT. If you have the 120GB SSD, you just install the OS in SSD, use the 1TB HDD for storage. But if you use the intel RST, then the OCZ toolbox may not recognize the Vertex4. Read the Important Note from OCZ website. http://ocz.com/consumer/download/firmware
