How big of a hard drive do I need for a gaming PC?

I'm getting a new gaming PC, i have almost everything picked out, I just need to get a hard drive, but I don't know how much memory I need.
I don't think I'll need that much space, i won't be running loads of different games, but i just want to make sure i get the right one.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For a spinning disk, start at 500GB. Depending on budget, move up from there.

Depending on your budget one thing a lot of people like to do is have a SSD as the OS drive and then a regular hard drive for storage and secondary applications.
A good setup would be to have a 128gb SSD and the a 500gb hard drive as the secondary, of course this all depends on your budget. Why not give us the info on exactly what your doing as far as are you building this your self and what is your budget?
