Does it matter which slots the RAM goes in?

I have a Asrock Extreme 4 motherboard, with a Cosair Vengeance 8GB, Im planning to get a Hyper EVO cpu cooler for overclocking, I heard that the Evo will block the first slot a little, is it true? if it is, then which slots should I install my ram on? 2nd and 3rd? 2nd and 4th? or does it matter?

Thanks

The fan on the EVO, by default in push configuration, can be slid up a little to clear the RAM if necessary. It is held on by clips rather than screws. (That little black tab seen on the right)

I have the 212+ and it is the same way.

Well should it be better to have the fan in-front of the cooler, so the air can goes out through the back?

The (single) fan should push air through the fins. Some people have the single in a pull config, but that is not as effective.

Hmm maybe...but should I put it upside down? One side pull air from the bottom and one side push out air through the top?
