Hotspots for home laptops and road

I am looking for info for a hotspot for my computers at home and the road.
I need unlimted and no contract if possible, and fast at least 6Gbm? Thanks! Paul ps do I need a cell phone

Yep. Some of the new routers will let you set them up as a bridge/repeater. Or you can be cheap like I am and use an old Linksys WRT54g and put new firmware from DD-WRT in it. Check out the DD-WRT web site (here)and it will give you a list of routers (and tutorials) for which they have developed new firmware.
