Hello, I am building a new PC for stock trading and I am having trouble finding out details on this, or at least a definitive answer. What video cards can 4 monitors running at 1080? It will not be used for gaming but must be fast, reliable, and stable. None of the screens will be duplicate and I will have many windows open at once, a couple dozen at times.

I am thinking an Nvidia GTX660 would be adequate, but I cannot find a definitive answer or manufacturer specification saying so.

As far as the rest of the PC, i7 3770k, Z77 motherboard, 32gb ram, Windows 7 ultimate.

Thanks

Thanks for the response and links. So, it looks like the 660 will do it but would I be better off with 660 in SLI or a single 670? Do you think I would have any issues running 4 displays with this card?

Thanks

If you were gaming with 4 monitors then yes, but for just multi monitors for trading a single 660 is more than you need. Be wary that some programs will stretch across the 3 screens that are in surround when you maximize them so you may need to run them in windowed mode.

IF you have 2 PCI-E slots why not just run 2 standard video cards with 2 or even 3 outs not in sli?
We build machines with 12 DVI outs using three cards with VHDCI connectors. the adapter comes with the card as you can't actually fit 4 dvi ports side by side. We use these currently and they are in stock as of 2013-06-13 at ingram micro with a retail list price of $219
