Hey guys! This is my first post and I have something very interesting that I haven't found on the internet yet... My Minecraft used to go above 300 frames per second maxed out... Now it struggles to get 20! I don't know what happened... I took my graphics card out, cleaned it, then put it back in then pam! The frames dropped!
My specs:
Athlon ii X4 640 QuadCore Overcocked to 4.0 Ghz
2GB Hynix Ram
Galaxy GT 640 Overclocked to 950Mhz
I don't think it is my ram since it NEVER had done this before, not even a lag spike below 60... My OS -
Zorin OS 64-bit
My first operating System that this occured in was Linux Mint 14... I've been getting new operating systems seeing if that would work.. I passed through these so far:
Linux Mint
Ubuntu 12.10
Linux Lite
Zorin OS
But none of them helped... My drivers are the newest, I've also tested the Nvidia 310 Driver for my graphics card, it's in Beta... It's not buggy and I get about 2FPS higher... I don't understand... How is this happening? It also done it with Optifine. I can't get any mods execpt Optifine because when I need modloader, my screen just goes black after installing it. I removed Meta-INF too...
