CPU Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core $219.99
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing $33.20
Motherboard MSI Z77A-G45 ATX LGA1155 $105.99
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 $56.95
Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $66.64
Video Card Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB $250.38
Case Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower $49.99
Case Fan Cooler Master SickleFlow 69.7 CFM 120mm $8.28
Cooler Master Megaflow 110.0 CFM 200mm $16.42
Power Supply Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V $104.99
Optical Drive Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer $17.99
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) $90.91
Keyboard Gear Head KB2500U

That's my build with the 750w PSU is it to much for my build in single gpu not going crossfire .
This PSU will need to last for at least 3-4 years of upgrades and increasing power supply.
Will it be enough for that long of time? Should I downgrade to a 650w PSU or would that not last the required amour of time?

Thanks

I would go with the 750 as you might add something later on down the road. You could go with a 650 as it would be enough.

TX750, AX750 or HX50 ?

HX750 is $130 - $15 promo - $10 MIR = $105
$15 off w/ promo code EMCXSVT28, ends 4/29

TX750 is $110 - $10 MIR = $100

For the $5, Id take the HX750 in a heartbeat

But, yes, I wouldn't consider crossfire these days so that makes it quite oversized. If ya were picking the faster 660 Ti at $10 more, I'd definitely go with the 750 so as to allow for future SLI. The 660 Ti has a marginal fps lead over the 7950 but the big difference is in frame latency

All you need to know about psu is that "80 PLUS PLATINUM" is the highest performance of all PSU(reliable and high efficiency). Look for one that said "80 PLUS PLATINUM" I'd recommend a 650w 80 PLUS PLATINUM from one of these: Corsair, Seasonic(my choice), and Antec.(or others if you want)

Think that'll last me for 2-3 years worth of gpu upgrades and OC
