I am not too tech savvy, but will a Dell UltraSharp™ U2913WM Monitor (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c...) work well with a Lenovo Y500 with a 750m graphics card?

Yeah, the GT 750M supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 through HDMI.

Awesome! With your answer, I have have one more question. Will it effect gaming? I only play one game, Starcraft 2 HoTS, on high settings, and I usually get between 40 - 60 fps.

Do you have the single 750M or SLI? If it's just one, you might have to turn down the settings a little in order to play at max resolution.

It's just one for now, I'll get the 750m ultrabay thing when it's available. It's at high now, which isn't the max. But I assume you mean I'll have to turn it down either way. But when you say, "a little", how much are we talking?

I wouldn't think that much. SC2 isn't all that graphically intensive. Probably just down to medium.

No problem. That's a really nice monitor and a great laptop. I have the Y400 and love it.
