Hello!

My EVGA GTX 650 is clocked at 1058 by default for the GPU, and the memory is set to 1250.

I have
+201 for the GPU
+350 for the memory

It is stable - temps are good. I just got a new case and 5 fans and want to go farther. I think I'll have to raise the voltage for better results now though.

Any help?

Voltage is stock @ 1.112

I'd pump a little more voltage into it, maybe around .02 to .08 more, not above .08 though. If you want, you can get a liquid cooler for it if you want to stick with that card and keep OCing, however it could be better to say get a 680 stock or 680 OC edition and then OC that. It'll get much more performance and quality for much less heat and voltage, even a 670 would be good for that.

Now I'm at
+247
+400
Voltage @ 1.125

Seems stable, I'll run a heavy duty game now.

As for any tips - this card runs nice and cool, even with this overclock, running under 60c this is not bad to say the least. Has very good overclocking potential. I'm using EVGA precision X to overclock it.

That's great. My HD 5570 (its older lol) Runs at +75 Core and +180 Memory, and it idles at 54ºC and usually runs at about 70 to 80 C, so it's pretty bad, lol. But My new Computer is getting Dual GTX 680 4GB GCs and it should idle at about 30ºC and run no more than 55ºC :p :)

Ok so this is how much I overclocked
went up to
275 mhz for a clock of 1320 mhz gpu
450 mhz for a clock of 2916 mhz memory
card was running at 46c under full load
but it was not stable as changing tabs in web browser would lag
Changed to
250 mhz for a clock of 1306 gpu
400 mhz for a clock of 2898 memory
volatge is set to 1.136
and the card is running at 50% fan speed and 45c
:D

FanTastic! Wow, thats great. If you get MSI afterburner, the fan has a UserDefault mode that will naturally run it about 20 to 40% higher than normal, but it'll keep it about 5 C cooler. If you have a quiet and strong enough fan, i'd do that. I forgot to mention, I could've ran my Kombustor Benchmark for the MSI Afterburner and heated my GPU up to 110ºC to 115ºC. I got it up to 101C and just stopped... lol o_O

Change your fan curve a bit.

Just got done stress testing in Planetside 2 (HUGE battle)

Card was stable whole way through. Temps around 50C

Static, you could probably turn you voltage down 1 notch, it's stable for me @ same settings.

Yeah, I mean its really just during those benchmarks, when I'm say playing DayZ, itll' hover around 75C, and its a card from 2008, so I mean it's alright. It doesn't seriously matter though. I will eventually use that PC for Bit Mining, and with that turning the OC Memory Clock all the way down is what makes it perform best, and so temps will not be a problem at all.

Yeah. My new case will have:
4x 80mm fans
2x 120mm fans
2x 160mm fans

Then with the Two GPU's, I'm separating them as much as possible to enhance airflow, and each GPU has two 100mm or so fans on them: Galaxy GTX 680 4GB GC

With that and MSI Afterburner, or Precision X (or even both), It'll be perfect :)

Yeah, Believe it or not, but two GTX 680 reference cards beat one GTX titan overclocked edition. Other than micro-stuttering that may occur and minor driver issues with certain games, my dual GPU selection is almost 3x as better than a GTX titan by itself. :p lol

When I run my card at stock clocks
I can run Battlefield 3 all maxed out with 1920x1280 resolution
at about 30-35 fps but the gameplay altough there is no major lag it dosent feel as smooth
will try to see how it runs overclocked :)
And well yes I understand in order to run newest games on highest settings I need a better card

yup, that's it, was it at that when it crashed? If it was, just go back like 10Mhz, then if it ever crashes again, go back a little further.
Mine seemed stable to me @ 1.25, I ran a stress test from msi Kombuster.

Are you referring to the Maxwell line of graphics cards?

If you are, then I'll also add that the Maxwell cards not only run cooler, but they use less power. In fact, the GT 740 is only 50 megahertz slower than the GTX 650, and yet it's a bus-powered card, which is great for me since I'll be using it in a Vidock and I don't want to spend an extra $40 for a a Vidock which has power connectors.
