Not really. I would get a 120gb SSD and use the extra money to get a better GPU.

I agree with tiny voices. If gaming is the goal then put more $$ into the GPU. If you are a mild gamer and do a lot of editing then your build is balanced.

I agree with tiny unless the SSD is your only storage. In that case it's fine. I would try to move up to a GTX 660 or 7870 though if you can stretch it.

Yeah the SSD is the only storage in the system. I have no need for more storage than that as I typically only play a few games at a time.

graphics would depend more on monitor size/res and the games you'll be playing. but at 1080p it should be fine. the SSD, I'd stick with the 256. 128 will fill faster than you think just doing "nothing".

Would agree with above lower your SSD down to a 120gb and up your GPU to atleast a GTX 660ti or GTX 670 if you can manage it.

Antec VP-450 is the PSU. Initially I was going for a ~$600 system till I decided on getting the SSD. My system is already put together except for the GPU.

yikes. 450W is cutting it close. I know you aren't overclocking, but still you should have grabbed a 500W PSU. Lukily SSDs don't consume much power.

it's a 36amp supply. should be adequate.

but I also don't like buying "big enough" or "good enough" PS. my good enough's are 100-150 watts over or 20 aMPS more than needed. might sound nuts but a happy PS(system) is a cool running PS./system

still think original idea is okay.
