Open the cd/dvd tray and remove disk, sometimes when the primary boot option is the cd/dvd device, and you've left a non-bootable disk in it, the laptop thinks its a boot disk of some sort and when there are no bootable options, it gives you that message, it's supposed to go to the next available boot option, which would/should be the hdd.

Your laptop is Acer but some Dell desktops and laptops had a security feature whereby if the cd/dvd was the primary boot option then no ther would suffice and it would not boot to the next bootable device.

Go into bios and change the primary boot device to the hdd if it is any other reference.
