Ok Which Gpu is better ? (Need Help with proof as Possible)

For AMD cards sapphire is my preferred maker. AMD board partner, great cards, and an excellent warranty experience with a card that was my (cats) fault and I fully expected to be billed for the repair. They had a replacement of a limited edition card out of stock for a year in my hands in two weeks.

Otherwise if probably lean toward ASUS but most of the top ones are good as far as I know.

The 7970ghz is stronger than the 680 by a small margin. 670's in sli would kill a single 7970ghz. That would be about the power of a 690. The titan may be the only card out there that will be able to max out bf4 at 60 fps.

A little bit false there if I may add. A single GTX 670 if overclocked can run BF3 on absolute max settings on one screen in 1080p at 60 Frames. One 680 can get up to 80, and the titan can do about 90-100. If you run Two GTX 680 4GB GC editions stock in SLI, they hit 120 steadily on one screen, and if overclocked, it can achieve anywhere from 160-180 frames. ^_^ The 7970 isn't as good with BF3 as the GTXs but can go head to head and probably beat the 670, but wont be better than two 660 ti's in the least.

So u think tht 660ti SLI will be better than 670 SLi but will it run BF4 on 60+ FPS ?

660s are never better than 670s unless you run say 3 660s over one 670. BF4 may or may not be more optimized, it probably wont. So you can still definitely do two 660 tis and get about 80 to 100 frames on BF3, and the BF4 engine isn't much different than the BF3 engine, so I could see about 70 stock, and if you oc the 660 tis then probably about 80. :p

I was talking about bf4, not bf3. I can max it out easily at 60+fps online with my 7950. Also, your info is outdated, look at any new benchmark, like the titan review, and you will see the 7970 ahead of the 680.

It's not a big margin by any means, but it is still cheaper and costs less.

Yeah, there's not a big margin, keep that in mind while I tell you this.

I'm really only going to accept that benchmark if you can show me what the specs of the PC or board they used are, but for now, I'll use it as reference.

On average, the 7970 beat the REFERENCE GTX 680 by about 2%-3%. That is very small. Also keep in mind, AMD GPUs mostly only work better with AMD and Nvidia does the same with Intel. Furthermore, you also have to keep in mind that it was a GTX 680 REFERENCE Card, and a Ghz Edition 7970. The reference 680 is the lowest it gets, and you can go one step lower with the 7970. There are better GTX 680s out there. Find me one where the 7970 beats the GTX 680 GC edition, then I'll think about it. And still, the 680 and higher ups are much better. In the case of the bench you just showed me, I would go with a 690 and for what it just did on BF3. Also, I am getting a GTX 680 4GB GC edition with dual 100mm fans from Galaxy, for $510 each, which matched with the average 7970, is only about $50 more.

By the way, BF4 didn't come out yet, and there aren't any benches also, so how can you indefinitely at this point in time prove that the 7970 is better with BF4?

CrossfireX is currently broken. SLI GTX 670s is the most sensible high-end configuration, and it will run everything you throw at it with no issues.

Okay, here's a quick one that I stirred up. We can run through it to trim it down to size and what you want/need:

Case: Ultra Rogue M925 Full Tower Gaming Case $80

Motherboard: MSI Z77MA-G45 LGA 1155 $105

CPU: i5-3570k $215

GPU: Dual GTX 670 GC (OC) Editions $760

CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo $35

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB $75

RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance $77

PSU: Corsair TX850 (850 watts) $140

CDD: ASUS 24xDVD-RW $23

TOTAL: $1510

Here's a few options that you have:

CPU: i7-3770k $320
- Higher Stock Freq.
- Hyper-Threading which benefits many games (i.e BF3)
- Comes with a Very Good Fan, so -$35 from CPU Fan

HDD: Barracuda 2TB $100
- Only $20 more for a whole-another 1TB

So if you wanted them:

BOTH: $1605

HDD Only: $1535

CPU Only: $1590

It is breaking $1600, however you do get a little more clock and HT tech, also a doubled HDD for only $20.

If there are any thing others would like to suggest or that you want, let me know. As for now, this is the best PC for your money in that range.

If your going to be ordering from US, go with newegg.com. That's where almost all of your stuff came from. The GPUs however came from tigerdirect.com, they actually have better deals. I'll give you the links for everything.
