1st you're gonna have to find out if your disk is under warranty to obtain a replacement drive. Hard drive warranty is usually 3 years, but varies from drive to drive. Go to your hard drive manufacturer's website to find your hard disk warranty period. You can find info about your hard drive on it's sticker if you wish to know more. They will not send you a new one though, instead most likely sending a repaired drive back to you.
