Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this. I am looking to upgrade my graphics card. At the moment I'm trying to get one for around 150-200. 200 is my max.

At the moment I have a 700 Watt power supply, an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz (4CPUs), 8192 MBs ram

I got all this off my dxdiag. If i'm missing something let me know and I can go find it!

I'd really like to get the most fps while running in 1920 x 1080. I have around a 17" monitor.

or if you could recommend a new motherboard that would be cool too? i'd be willing to go up to 300 for both :/ might be really low but its all i have? and what kind of upgrade would each have on what i have now?

I suggest you get a single GPU instead.

Upgrading you system would be too much unless you can spare another $100 or so. If you go too far with the GPU it will be bottle necked even further. In case you don't know what a bottle neck is it's basically when you have too old of a CPU and too fast of a GPU and the GPU has to wait for the CPU when playing games or something. This can also be said for the opposite.

That's a good combo but it won't benefit you much. GPU the way to go.
