I recently purchased the asus HD 7770 1GB-GDDR5
the PCI express slot is compatible with the motherboard.

It also is recognized as being plugged in, I have updated the drivers.

However, I get an annoying error code upon logging in saying missing dll. please install vga drivers, when turning on the PC with 6 yellow blinking lights, the same error I got with my last graphics card purchase.

It must mean that the graphics card is bad, but it is receiving the correct amount of wattage because I upgraded my power supply to meet the specifications and the fan even rotates, telling me its receiving power to the graphics card.

Could it be possible that the only reason that the graphics card does not work is because it is not compatible with windows 8? What are some other sources I could be looking at? Thank you for your time and help!

I took the GPU out, GPU tweak which is the software to increasing fan speed and overclocking says im missing the dlls, please install the VGA driver. I have used the disc to install as well as the drivers from the website. I do have an integrated graphics card, I do not know how to disable the onboard, I did go to the BIOs and turn off the bios secure boot from windows 8 which I was told would react negatively to installing new hardware. Although the DLL error message still did appear after removing the GPU, the yellow blinking is gone.

It states that im just simply missing the DLLs when my GPU is in, where would I find the whole list? Thank you for your help! When I take it out, I no longer need the DLLs however, I did a test run on a game I was playing earlier and it was not working as well as the GPU I installed did. So maybe its just alternating between the onboard and installed?
