I'm looking for help building a desktop. I don't have any experience here which is why is turned here. My budget is $1500-2000, I would rather have higher performance than a lower price. No preipherials should be included in the price.I appreciate all of your help and thank you in advanced

You can choose any other case that you prefer, cases are a personal taste.
If you want to SLI/Crossfire in the future you would want to consider higher wattage/amps.
H100i so you don't have a huge ugly heatsink hanging off board, and you can overclock to 4.5ghz easily with it.
Samsung have great reliable solid states drives.
Install Windows and applications on SSD and games/data on hard drive.
Windows 8 is easy to use once you install Start8 or Classic Shell.
