Hey guys i would like to build my next desktop. I want something that can run new games, with ease but not brake the bank either. Something with enough wiggle room i can upgrade with ease in the future. I would like to use intel's i5 CPU. I also would like my computer to have at least 3 USB ports and 1 HDMI. I would also love to be able to watch blu rays as well. Please post your input and advice!

now i read that AMD is slightly behind intel at the moment. And i want a quad processor over a normal dual for gaming. Is that correct or not so much?

Crossfire and SLI by AMD and Nvidia respectively is their method of using 2 or more graphics cards in a single system. Since you are new to this you won't need to do it. It also requires more money. The FX 6300 once overclocked will be better than the i3.

Looks good!

It's compatible. It should be better than tiny voice's build, not saying his is bad.
