cd-rom disabled, not sure how to enable

Not sure what you tried...
Anyways if you haven't tried this try it..
1. Control Panel>System
2. On the left hand side click on advanced system settings
3. Click on Hardware then click on device manager
4. A new window will be there, click on the triangle by dvd/cd rom devices, then right click your rom drive and goto enable from there.
